Maria Marmarou • RockReach Music Teaching Artist

Maria is from Pennsylvania and is a grad student at Temple University studying jazz drum set performance. She has performed with Joey Defrancesco, Dick Oatts, Tim Warfield, Michael Dease, Kurt Elling, and Terell Stafford. She has played at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Smalls Jazz Club in NYC, the MET Philadelphia, and many other music venues. Maria was recently awarded the Earl Hines Outstanding Musician Award at the Jack Rudin Collegiate competition and the outstanding drums award in 2022 and 2023. Maria joined The Rock Reach team as a Music Teaching Artist in 2022.
