In-School Residencies

Thirty-two weeks of dance instruction integrated into an entire grade level’s classroom curriculum once a week for 45 minutes customized to amplify each school’s unique culture, history, and mission. Professional dance and music teaching artists guide students through the program's basic dance and rhythm-making exercises to create meaningful peer interaction and contribute to social-emotional growth. Live drummers in each class enhance the sensory experience. 

RockReach Dance Teaching Artists are trained in working with special needs, including physical and cognitive disabilities, traumas, visual impairment, and sensory sensitivity, make the RockReach experience accessible and inclusive. 

Dynamics of Dance

The exciting culmination of the RockReach program presented every May at The Rock School in-studio theater. This final celebratory show is performed by all RockReach students with special dance presentations of The Rock School Professional Division students for all RockReach student families, friends, and school community.

City Dance Scholarship

Integrates RockReach participants who wish to pursue more formal dance training at The Rock School year-round. The scholarship offers free tuition to passionate and focused students removing barriers in accessing high level ballet and dance training.
